TRAFFIC REPORT FROM VICTORIA ISLAND

It’s moving traffic descending from Mecwen Bridge inward Bonny Camp Roundabout at the moment.

Descending from Bonny Camp Bridge inward Ahmadu Bello Way is also encouraging, down to the Mobil filling station. From Mobil enroute Adeola Odeku, movement remains good with a slight slowdown approaching the Adeola Odeku intersection due to traffic light stoppage.

Vehicular flow from Adeola Odeku enroute Eko Hotel is smooth, though traffic is beginning to build from the Eko Hotel exit gate down to the roundabout as a result of alternating points and the early morning rush.

Traffic from Bonny Camp underbridge through Kofo Abayomi, Oniru Kilimanjaro, down to Law School is also in good shape, except for light delays at traffic lights and alternating points.

The stretch from Law School through Civic Center, BJ 1004, School Corner to Sandfield, inward Lekki Phase 1, is moving steadily.

On the return journey, traffic from Lekki inward Toll Plaza down to Sandfield is gathering momentum, while Sandfield through School Corner, BJ 1004, Civic Center, Law School, Akin Adesola, and Kilimanjaro down to Bonny Camp remains largely smooth—again, with only minor delays at traffic light stoppages.

For now, impediments are negative, and officers are on ground managing the situation effectively.
