TRAFFIC UPDATE – LEKKI–AJAH EXPRESSWAY AXIS

Traffic along the Lekki–Ajah Expressway is experiencing mixed flow conditions:

Movement from Lekki inward Marwa is building up gradually, while from Marwa to Ikate, traffic is moving smoothly.

From Ikate inward Chisco, there is a noticeable slowdown, and the situation remains the same from Chisco through Salem.

However, the stretch from Jakande Roundabout through Igbo-Efon, Chevron, and the Second Tollgate is witnessing free vehicular movement.

From Second Tollgate inward Eleganza, there is another stretch of slow movement, but the traffic condition from Eleganza through Ikota, VGC, Landmark, and Ilaje is currently in good shape.

On the return journey, traffic from Ilaje back to Marwa is flowing steadily with no reports of delays.

Motorists are advised to remain cautious, particularly in areas with ongoing market activity or intermittent slowdowns, and to comply with directions given by traffic officials on ground.
