VICTORIA ISLAND – LEKKI AXIS TRAFFIC UPDATE

Traffic situation across the Victoria Island–Lekki axis is generally cool and calm at the moment, with only one minor impediment observed.

Vehicular movement from McEwen Bridge inward and outward through Bonny Camp Roundabout is flowing smoothly. Traffic from Bonny Camp inward McEwen is also good to go, with a broken-down truck by the NAPEX car park that is not affecting traffic for now.

Movement along Ahmadu Bello Way inward and outward, en route Eko Hotel and return, is moving appreciably.

Traffic from Bonny Camp underbridge through Kofo Abayomi, Oniru, Kilimanjaro down to the Ozumba Mbadiwe corridor and return is in good shape, with minor delays only at traffic light points and alternation spots.

The Law School to Civic Centre stretch is free-flowing at this time.

At BJ1004 inward School Corner, traffic is busy but moving, largely due to illegal roadside parking linked to activities around Quilox Night Club.

Overall, traffic signal lights are functional, officers are visibly on ground, and the identified impediment poses no significant traffic impact at this time.
