TRAFFIC STATUS REPORT FROM VICTORIA ISLAND – LEKKI AXIS
Traffic from McWen Bridge inward Bonny Camp Roundabout is moving smoothly, while the return journey from Bonny Camp toward McWen Bridge is equally free-flowing.
Bonny Camp inward Ahmadu Bello Way is moving steadily, although slight delays are being experienced around the Mobil Filling Station due to fuel purchase activities. Traffic toward Eko Hotel is generally moving but experiencing delays around the IMB Intersection and Coastal Road entrance due to morning rush-hour traffic.
Movement approaching Eko Hotel Roundabout is slightly slow as a result of traffic light delays and vehicular alternation. The return journey toward Ahmadu Bello Way is steady but affected by delays near the MRS Filling Station and Adeola Odeku Junction.
Bonny Camp Underpass through Kofo Abayomi is moving steadily, while traffic toward Oniru and Kilimanjaro remains in good shape aside from minor delays at traffic lights and alternation points.
The Law School–Civic Centre corridor is moving well, while Akin Adesola through the Victoria Island–Ikoyi Link Bridge toward Falomo is experiencing moving traffic.
Civic Centre through BJ1004, School Corner, Sandfield, and Lekki Phase 1 is moving steadily with slight delays at alternation points and traffic signals.
Motorists should note that ongoing road rehabilitation works on Idowu Oniru Road have led to a temporary closure of Alaba Oniru Road near Access Bank. Traffic officers are actively managing the situation.
