IKORODU TRAFFIC UPDATE
Traffic conditions across the Ikorodu corridor are largely favourable, with pockets of slow movement recorded at a few key locations.
Motorists are enjoying good vehicular movement from Olopo Meji through Trailer Park. However, traffic inward Odongunyan is slow-moving due to bus stop activities along the corridor.
Further movement from NNPC through Second Gate and First Gate remains light, while traffic approaching Oke Gbegun is slightly busy as a result of the earlier reported lone accident involving a Mack truck at the location.
The stretch from Sawmill through the LASTMA Yard, Ile-Epo Oba, and up to Sabo Roundabout is moving freely. Traffic from Sabo Roundabout inward Powerline and Aleje is appreciable, while movement toward Ikorodu Roundabout remains smooth.
Motorists should expect slow movement from Ikorodu Roundabout inward Primero, occasioned by bus stop activities and the morning rush. Traffic from Unity to Benson remains steady and appreciable.
On the return journey, movement from Benson toward Ikorodu Roundabout is free-flowing, while traffic from Aleje to Sabo Roundabout remains favourable. The stretch from Sawmill inward Oke Gbegun is slightly busy.
Movement from the Itamaga Traffic Light through Radio, Erunwen, and Music Village is fast-moving, while the corridor from Music Village to Ota-Ona remains free-flowing.
Likewise, traffic is moving well towards Itunmeko, Itunpate, Itumoja, Ladega, and Ojubode, while the journey from Ojubode connecting Ikorodu Roundabout remains fast and seamless.
