FLASH UPDATE FROM IKORODU
Motorists travelling from Odogunyan towards Sabo Roundabout are advised to divert right after the LASTMA Yard beside Oriwu Club and connect through Eyita Road to Benson.
Alternative routes include:
- Left turn after LASTMA Yard through NASFAT and Akasolori to Itamaga and Ota-Ona.
- From Ikorodu Roundabout through Ojogbe and Ita-Elewa to Ota-Ona.
- Via Ojubode and Alhaji Road connecting Ota-Ona.
Within the Ajah corridor, traffic from Ajah through Ikota, Chevron and New Road is moving well. However, heavy flash flooding at Jakande is slowing traffic around Igbo-Efon and Jakande.
Traffic improves significantly after the flooded section through Chisco, Ikate and Marwa. Another flooded section around Chisco towards Jakande is also causing traffic build-up extending towards Ikate.
