TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM VICTORIA ISLAND/LEKKI
The entire stretch of Victoria Island is currently calm and free-flowing with no major impediments observed.
Traffic movement from Mekwen Bridge inward and outward to Bonny Camp Roundabout is smooth. Likewise, vehicular flow along Ahmadu Bello Way toward Eko Hotel and the return journey remains appreciable.
IMB to Coastal Road is free-flowing, while movement from IMB through Akin Adesola inward Falomo via Ramp Bridge is progressing smoothly.
Traffic from Bonny Camp Underbridge through Kofo Abayomi, Oniru (Kilimanjaro Axis) down to Ozumba Mbadiwe and the return route is generally good, with only minor delays caused by traffic lights and lane alternations.
The Law School corridor through Civic Centre, BJ1004, School Corner and Sandfield inward Lekki Phase 1, including the return journey, is moving steadily. Slight delays are being experienced at traffic light points and alternation sections.
Overall, only minor delays are being recorded at alternation points. Traffic signals are functional, no impediments have been reported, and officers are visibly on ground managing traffic effectively.
