TRAFFIC UPDATE (IKORODU AXIS)
Navigating from Olopomeji to Trailer Park is light, while traffic from Ayilala inward Odongunyan and ENYO is busy but moving. The return journey is experiencing similar conditions, with traffic managers on ground restoring order.
Further movement toward NNPC, Flower Gate, Second Gate and First Gate is good to go. Traffic from Okegbegun through Sawmill, LASTMA Yard and Eye Foundation is moving at a commendable pace.
Approaching Sabo Roundabout inward Aleje is busy but moving, while traffic toward Ikorodu Roundabout remains encouraging. Movement from Primero through Unity and Benson is appreciable.
Awolowo Road from Itamaga through Radio, Erunwen, Musical Village and Grammar School is in good shape, with onward movement toward Ota-Ona flowing steadily.
Traffic from Ota-Ona through Itun-Meko, Itun-Pate, Itun-Moja, LG and Ojubode is moving freely. Likewise, movement from Ojogbe connecting Oba’s Palace, Awolowo, Ojubode and Ikorodu Roundabout remains smooth.
The earlier reported accident involving a red bus is still awaiting the arrival of a tow truck for evacuation. However, traffic flow along the affected corridor has improved considerably.
Traffic managers remain on ground monitoring and managing the situation.
