TRAFFIC UPDATE – OLOWU / 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE / OBALENDE AXIS
Traffic from Simpson inward Ilubirin, Adeniji and onward to Iyana Oworo via the 3rd Mainland Bridge is moving freely.
However, the return journey from Adekunle through Adeniji toward Carter Bridge and Obalende is slow due to the morning peak.
Movement around State House Bridge inward Obalende is good, while traffic from NITEL Intersection through Inner Marina to Onikan and Force Road is very busy because of the morning rush.
Traffic from the Train Station toward State House and McEwen Bridge en route Bonny Camp remains heavily congested due to the failed expansion joint and flooding, which has washed away the temporary palliative repairs.
Movement from Adekunle on the 3rd Mainland Bridge descending toward Adeniji and Oyebanji/Idumagbo is slow but moving, while traffic ascending Simpson Bridge toward the Osborne Exit is also moving steadily.
