TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM SANGOTEDO
Motorists should expect busy traffic from Alesh inward Ajah Under Bridge en route Addo Badore Road due to a bad portion of the road compounded by flash flooding.
Traffic improves immediately after Olumegbon Palace, while the return journey from Badore through Ajah Under Bridge and Ajah Market is moving steadily. Traffic managers are on ground ensuring smooth vehicular movement.
Movement from Ajah inward Ajiwe is good; however, motorists should expect slow movement approaching Child of Promise Junction due to vehicles turning at the intersection. From Child of Promise to Abraham Adesanya Roundabout, traffic is encouraging.
The stretch from Abraham Adesanya Roundabout through Lekki Gardens, Alasia, Olokonla, Shoprite, Ogidan, Abijo GRA, Awoyaya and down to Eleko Junction along the Lekki-Epe Expressway is calm and free-flowing.
The return journey from Eleko Junction through Awoyaya, Ogidan, Sangotedo, Alasia and Abraham Adesanya is also moving well. Traffic becomes slightly busy but remains steady approaching Ajiwe and ascending the Ajah Jubilee Bridge.
Aside from the earlier reported broken-down vehicle at Ajah Market inward Alesh, there are no other traffic impediments on the corridor. Personnel remain strategically deployed to monitor and manage traffic.
