TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM IKORODU
Vehicular movement from Olopo Meji through Trailer Park toward the Odonguyan corridor is encouraging despite bus stop activities and pedestrian crossings.
Beyond Odonguyan, traffic through NNPC, Flower, Second Gate and First Gate is free-flowing. Motorists heading toward Okegbegun, High School, Ile-Epo Oba and Sabo Roundabout are also enjoying a fast-moving ride.
Traffic from Sabo Roundabout inward Aleje is slow-moving due to ongoing counterflow and the poor condition of the road.
Movement from Aleje to Ikorodu Roundabout is in good shape, while traffic toward Primero remains appreciable despite bus stop activities. The stretch from Unity to Benson is also moving well, although pedestrian crossings and bus stop activities are causing minor delays.
The return journey from Ragolis through Benson to Ikorodu Roundabout is smooth. Traffic from Aleje back to Sabo Roundabout is equally appreciable.
From Sabo Roundabout toward Odonguyan, traffic is free-flowing. Movement from the Itamaga Traffic Light through Radio, Erunwen and Musical Village remains seamless, with the corridor from Musical Village to Ota-Ona also in good condition.
Traffic from Ota-Ona through Itun Meko, Itun Pate, Itun Moja, Ladega and down to Ojubode is free-flowing. Likewise, motorists travelling from Ojogbe through the Oba’s Palace and Ojubode to Ikorodu Roundabout are enjoying smooth movement.
Impediment: Negative.
Traffic officers remain strategically positioned, particularly around the construction zone, to ensure the free flow of traffic.
