TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM ALAUSA–IKEJA AXIS

Traffic conditions remain relatively free-flowing across the Alausa–Ikeja axis despite the light drizzle currently being experienced.

The stretch of Mobolaji Johnson Avenue from 7UP Gate through Billingsway to Alausa Intersection is moving smoothly.

Along Obafemi Awolowo Way, traffic is flowing well from Barracks through ShopRite, Radio, Allen Junction and Balogun. However, motorists should expect slow-moving traffic approaching Olowu Junction due to the high volume of turning vehicles. Movement toward Ikeja Underbridge remains steady with only minor delays caused by traffic light alternation. The return journey is also moving well.

Traffic on Lateef Jakande Road from Omole Roundabout through Agidingbi to Coca-Cola Junction is in good shape.

Motorists travelling along Aromire to Adeniyi Jones should only expect brief delays at traffic light alternation points. The same traffic condition applies to Dr. Nurudeen Olowopopo Road connecting Otedola Underbridge.

Impediment: Negative.

Traffic officers remain on ground monitoring the corridor and ensuring the free flow of vehicular movement.
