TRAFFIC UPDATE – OGOLONTO
Vehicular movement is smooth from Benson through Haruna, Agric, Aunty Kenny, Oja, Idiroko to Ogolonto. Traffic also remains fast-moving along the Majidun, Orita-Aje, Asolo, Itowolo and Odogun corridors.
Movement along Oba Sekumade Road from Ebute Police Post through Cappa Junction and Ikorodu General Hospital to Ojogbe Junction is steady at this time.
Motorists should note that Igbogbo is hosting the Oba’s Anniversary and Coronation Celebration, and increased vehicular and human traffic is expected around the area.
Traffic management personnel have been deployed to control traffic and ensure order around the venue. It is also important to note that parts of Igbogbo have been barricaded to support event security and crowd management.
Motorists are advised to cooperate with traffic officers, expect possible delays around Igbogbo, and consider alternative routes where necessary.
