TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM OGOLONTO
Vehicular movement from Benson, Haruna, Agric down to Aunty Kenny, Oja, Idiroko, Ogolonto and through Majidun, Orita-Aje, Asolo, Itowolo and onward to Odogun is moving freely this morning, with the return journey also moving well.
Movement from Ogolonto Intersection through Obasekunmade Road, Ebute Police Post, Cappa Junction, Ikorodu General Hospital down to Ojogbe Junction is steady.
Appreciable movement is recorded along Irèshe Road, while priority is being managed at Owolowo Road, Oriwu and Ita-Elewa to improve movement in slower areas.
Movement from Ebute Police Post connecting Igbogbo/Ibeshe Roundabout, Solabo, Cemetery, Sheriff Junction, Club 24, Odo-Eran and Ojogbe Junction is uninterrupted.
Commercial activities are high around Igbogbo this morning, while traffic personnel are actively managing the corridor.
There is an impediment from Eleran-Igbe onward to Ogolonto involving a vehicle with a gear problem. It is not obstructing traffic at the moment.
A formidable structure is in place to manage any eventuality, while personnel remain on ground to ensure effective traffic control.
All bus lay-bys within the area are currently free to accommodate commercial activities. Commercial drivers are advised to make proper use of the designated lay-bys.
