TRAFFIC UPDATE – OKE ODO AXIS
Vehicular movement at the construction site, where contraflow is currently in place following the closure of the road from Awori down to the U-turn, is good to go for now, with the necessary structures properly in place.
Ascending and descending movements on Abule Egba Jubilee Bridge, both inward and outward, are moving at a faster rate. Movement from Awori inward, underneath Jubilee Bridge, where traffic light alternation is ongoing, down to Oja Oba is also in good shape.
Movement from Oja Oba inward Charity Intersection, where another traffic light alternation is ongoing, through Abattoir and Charity Road to connect Social Club and Olayiwola is good to go.
Super/Katangua inward Ile Epo down to Pleasure, en route Al-Moruf and inward Iyana Ipaja, is moving very well.
The return journey from Iyana Ipaja inward Ile Epo via Pleasure down to Super is free-flowing.
Movement from Mobil/Santos inward Ahmadiyya, en route Ajala, Ijaiye, Meiran, Kola, Alakuko down to Ajegunle inward Tollgate, is also good to go.
No impediment reported for now, while officers remain on ground managing the traffic situation.
