Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM has received the Executive Order Compliance Certificates on the State’s mandatory Insurance Health Scheme, alongside Sixty-One other Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
The recognition follows the implementation of the Executive Order on the Scheme, signed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in July 2024, which seeks to expand health insurance coverage and advance Universal Health Coverage in the State.
Speaking at the event, the Head of Service, Olabode Agoro described the certificates as more than ceremonial recognition, but a demonstration and commitment of the benefiting MDAs to leading by example in the implementation of the state’s social health insurance policy.
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, LASHMA, Emmanuella Zamba, said as the agency intensifies efforts to ensure compliance across government institutions, additional twenty-one MDAs had attained full compliance, while fifty-one others remained at various stages of compliance.
Zamba stated that LASHMA had trained two hundred and fifteen Verification Officers to verify ILERA EKO enrolment and assist residents seeking to enrol in the scheme.
At the event, three outstanding Ilera Eko Verification Officers and three Focal Persons were also recognized for their dedication to the Ilera Eko project.
