TRAFFIC UPDATE – ALAUSA/IKEJA AXIS (PM)
Movement along Obafemi Awolowo Way from Barracks through Radio, Allen Junction and Balogun towards Olowu is generally good, with slight congestion approaching Olowu due to heavy turning movements.
The stretch from Olowu to Ikeja Underbridge is also slightly busy due to traffic light alternation.
Lateef Jakande Way from Coca-Cola Junction through Cadbury and Wemco Junction to Omole Roundabout is moving well. The return journey is also good to go.
Movement from Allen Junction inward Aromire, Adeniyi Jones, Akora Villa and Hacco is gradually gathering momentum, with traffic personnel on ground managing the flow. The return journey is moving well, with a slight delay at Allen Junction due to traffic light alternation.
Mobolaji Johnson Avenue towards the Secretariat Intersection and Dr. Nurudeen Olowopopo Road connecting to Otedola Underbridge are both in good shape, apart from slight delays at the traffic light alternation points.
