INCIDENT REPORT – MILE 2 AXIS
A loaded 40-foot container-laden truck has developed tyre and stud problems, causing the container to tilt and occupy approximately 70 per cent of the road.
Traffic personnel are positioned on site to manage vehicular movement as the container is at risk of falling, making towing unsafe at the moment.
The incident is having minimal impact on traffic for now, while efforts are ongoing to repair the fault and facilitate the truck’s safe evacuation.
