INCIDENT REPORT FROM ALAUSA/IKEJA
A 10-tyre MAN truck carrying an overloaded consignment of planks overturned at Dr. Nurudeen Olowopopo Way, by Maruwa Gardens, reportedly due to improper securing of the load.
The truck was initially occupying approximately 45% of the carriageway.
A tow truck was contacted for immediate evacuation, while efforts were also made to transload the goods. Officers were on ground managing the situation.
UPDATE: The truck has been moved off the road.
