FLASH UPDATE FROM OTEDOLA BRIDGE INWARD BERGER
Four out of the five vehicles involved in the multiple-vehicle accident have been recovered, while all casualties have been rescued.
The Fire Service is currently flushing the diesel spilled on the road.
Traffic is currently building up around the LASAMBUS Turning towards Tollgate, while serious efforts are ongoing to evacuate the remaining vehicle.
The gearbox of the last truck has fallen from the chassis, and it needs to be suspended with a chain before the vehicle can be towed off the road.
The traffic situation has now extended to Ojota Bridge.
Motorists heading towards Berger are advised to use CMD Road to connect Otedola Under Bridge and continue towards Berger.
Motorists who have passed Ikosi Junction can make use of 7Up on Mobolaji Johnson Avenue, connect to Nurudeen Olowopopo Road and proceed towards Otedola Under Bridge inward Berger.
Traffic towards Berger, Kara Bridge and OPIC Turning remains good to go for now.
