INCIDENT REPORT FROM AGEGE/PEN CINEMA AXIS
A detached flatbed loaded with rolls of brown paper has been found abandoned on the carriageway at Oba Ogunji inward Pen Cinema after separating from its tractor head.
Part of the cargo spilled onto the roadway, causing obstruction along the corridor.
A high-capacity tow vehicle and forklift have been activated for recovery operations, while the LASTMA Rescue and Recovery Team has been deployed to the scene for vehicle removal and traffic management.
Personnel from Zone 6 are also on ground controlling traffic and ensuring the safety of other road users.
Traffic remains manageable at the moment, although motorists are advised to exercise caution when approaching the affected area. Further updates will be provided as recovery efforts progress.
