INCIDENT REPORT – IKORODU
A flatbed truck loaded with iron billets has broken down due to a propeller fault at the construction site near Powerline, inward Sabo Roundabout.
The truck is occupying approximately half of the carriageway.
A mechanic is currently working on the vehicle, while a tow truck has been contacted for recovery.
Traffic Effect: The incident has caused a backlog extending towards Eye Foundation from both the Powerline and Sabo Onimalu corridors.
LASTMA personnel are on ground controlling traffic and managing the recovery operation.
