INCIDENT REPORT – IKORODU AXIS
A flatbed Mack truck loaded with steel rods has broken down due to low gas pressure (cutting gas) at Aleje inward Sabo Roundabout.
The vehicle is occupying about 70% of the carriageway.
A tow truck has been contacted for immediate evacuation, while LASTMA officers are manually alternating traffic to ease movement.
The incident has resulted in traffic build-up extending:
- From Aleje Junction back to Ikorodu Roundabout.
- From Sabo Roundabout back to Alaka Filling Station.
- Along Adeniran Ogunsanya Road.
Motorists are advised to exercise patience while recovery operations continue. Traffic officers remain on ground managing the situation.
