INCIDENT UPDATE FROM IKOYI-OBALENDE
A loaded tipper lost control while travelling at high speed and collided with a Mercedes-Benz Jeep on Akin Adesola Bridge inward Alfred Rewane, spilling its contents onto the roadway.
Transloading is ongoing ahead of the recovery of the tipper. LASTMA personnel and officers from Ikoyi Police Station are on ground, while a tow vehicle has been contacted for quick recovery.
Traffic movement remains minimal at the moment.
The Mercedes-Benz Jeep involved has been successfully removed from the road.
