Lagos Traffic Radio has recognized Seven Members of Staff who have contributed immensely to the actualization of the modest achievement of the Organization in year 2020, by issuing those Letters of Commendation.

The General Manager of the Station, Mr. Tayo Akanle who announced this at the Station’s November Staff Forum, held at the weekend, presented the Letters of Commendation to the Officers, charging them to do more.

Akanle thanked them for supporting the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Station, their contributions that have added value to the Station, Lagosians and Commuters, just as he emphasized the need for other members of Staff to greatly support the Agency in achieving its feat, in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S AGENDA of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

He said in the Letters ” I acknowledge with delight and commend your immense contribution. Your dedication and unusual passion has contributed greatly to the actualization of the modest achievement of this Agency in Year 2020 in spite of the challenges posed by the global pandemic”.

“This great achievement has been noted and highly commended. Consequently, I hereby express my profound gratitude for this grand feat; please keep it up.”

The Members of Staff include,Head, Budget and Planning, Mrs Taiwo Awonuga for the “Live Motorbike Report” Initiative to ensure real time live report of Incidents on the roads by Reporters.

Mrs Adéola Akindele, an Assistant Director, News and Current Affairs for her immense contribution to the success of the  T.H.EM.E.S AGENDA THIS WEEK Programme, dedicated to the activities of the T.H.E.M.E.S AGENDA of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Miss Adebowale Yusuf, of Programmes Department, for ensuring the success of  “Eko n Sanjo” Programme, the Yoruba version of the T.H.E.M.E.S AGENDA THIS WEEK. 

Assistant Director Programmes, Mr. Victor Oteri for driving a Traffic Drama Series “In Transit”to further enlighten and educate motorists on the need to imbibe the right culture and attitude on the roads.

Others are Mr. Micah Aruocha of Programmes Department, for his great contribution towards supporting and providing Social Media Contents to the Station’s Platforms. Head Marketing, Mr. Dare Durosimi, for Polo Shirt idea, to enhance the uniqueness of the Station and promote unity. Mrs Olubunmi Leigh of Marketing Department, for the innovation of a Sign post to make the Station visible.
