Lagos Traffic Radio and the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA, are set to collaborate to ensure that Lagos Residents have seamless travel time in line with the the Letter ‘T’ of the T.H.E.M.E.S Developmental Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration on Traffic Management and Transportation.

This came to the fore when the General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, Mr.Tayo Akanle led  Members of the ‘Motorbike Incidents Live Streaming Committee’ on a Working Visit to the General Manager of the LNSA, Ifalade Oyekan at the Agency’s Headquarters in Bolade Oshodi.

Mr Akanle hinted that leveraging technology, the ‘Motorbike Incidents Live Streaming’ Initiative will further help Motorists take informed decisions when they view live Reports from the Stations Live Motorbike Reporters on the Station’s Social Media Platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, among others.

Akanle added ‘Our way is to continue to add value to Lagosians and putting that at the back of our mind, we are here to seek for more knowledge that will enable us perform our job much better than before and going digital is one of the ways that is operational in the world today’.

While appreciating the visit and the role being played by Lagos Traffic Radio in traffic management in the state, the General Manager, Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, noted that the partnership would go a long way to assist security Agencies and other stakeholders in planning.

‘Your radio station is one of the front-runners when it comes to traffic management, this is a brillant idea that I am witnessing and I believe it is just the beginning, a lot of things will still be done aside this courtesy visit and to rub minds on common goals’ Oyekan said.

Prince Oyekan led the Lagos Traffic Radio team to study activities in the Agency’s Situation Room to enhance the proposed ‘Motorbike Incidents Live Streaming’ initiative.
