PUBLIC NOTICE – ROAD REHABILITATION (IKORODU AXIS)
The Lagos State Public Works Corporation will commence rehabilitation of failed sections on TOS Benson Road by Police Post Junction to improve traffic flow along the corridor.
The project will also cover the cross culvert at the junction linking Ikorodu Garage and General Hospital axis, as well as a section of Ibeshe Road by KD Eatery and Mobil Filling Station.
The first phase of the rehabilitation will take place between 11:00 PM and 06:00 AM today, Friday, 10th April 2026, while full-scale operations will begin one week after.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes where necessary.
Vehicles from Ogolonto inward General Hospital axis should divert through Apena Jumbo Street.
Articulated and smaller vehicles en route Ogolonto to Ibeshe can continue on the usual route with expected slow movement.
Articulated vehicles from Ibeshe towards TOS Benson should maintain their route, while non-articulated vehicles can link Apena Jumbo to Ikorodu Garage.
