TRAFFIC UPDATE – ALAUSA/IKEJA AXIS
The stretch of Mobolaji Johnson Avenue from Old Tollgate through 7UP Gate, Billings Way and Alausa Intersection is moving freely.
There is appreciable movement on Obafemi Awolowo Way from Barracks through Civil Defence, Coca-Cola Junction and Radio.
Traffic approaching Allen Junction is busy due to high vehicular influx, while movement from Balogun and Olowu down to Ikeja Under Bridge remains good to go. The return journey is also moving well, except for slight delays caused by traffic signal alternation.
Lateef Jakande Road from Omole Roundabout through Wemco Junction, Agidingbi, Cadbury and Mobil is moving freely, though slightly busy approaching Coca-Cola Junction. The return journey remains appreciable.
Aromire connecting Adeniyi Jones is on a good note, with only minor delays at traffic alternation points where necessary.
Officers are strategically positioned across the axis managing traffic flow.
