TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM AJEGUNLE–APAPA AXIS
Vehicular movement from both Ojo Road and Auto Wharf inward Ajeromi is currently fast-moving. Around Ajeromi Police Station, all commercial buses are being diverted inward Ojora Street to connect Boundary, as part of efforts to prevent gridlock at Boundary Roundabout.
Movement along Alayabi Agba through Arrakan Cantonment to Marine Beach inward Ijora remains smooth and steady, while the return journey from Marine Bridge exit inward Ajegunle is also free-flowing.
The stretch of Ijora Olopa and Sifax through to Area B, which is currently restricted to one lane, maintains fast-moving traffic for smaller vehicles. All flatbeds remain confined to the inner lane, although truck movement since yesterday and throughout the night has been less encouraging, due to inadequate capacity within the port terminals.
Movement along Point Road inward Ijora and Costain is good, while the earlier reported breakdown during the night has been cleared from the road.
