TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM IKOYI–OBALENDE AXIS
Traffic situation within the Ikoyi–Obalende corridor is largely steady this morning with pockets of slow movement in some sections.
There is appreciable movement in and out of Alexander Road down to Park View, though Alexander Link Bridge and the Roundabout are experiencing slow but steady movement due to a high influx of vehicles and the presence of a speed breaker.
Bourdillon Road inward Falomo Under Bridge records fast-moving traffic, and the return trip is equally smooth.
Falomo Roundabout connecting Awolowo Road and Keffi Street is good to go, though approaching Onikan Roundabout remains steady as a result of vehicles descending from the bridge. The return journey is also appreciable.
There is steady movement from Simpson Bridge through Dolphin to Osborne Foreshore inward Akin Adesola Bridge, while the return trip via Alfred Rewane is in good order.
Obalende Under Bridge is busy but moving, largely due to commercial activities in the area.
Overall, traffic across the Ikoyi–Obalende axis is steady and manageable, with visible movement in all directions despite mild slowdowns at key junctions.
