TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM KARA BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINT REPLACEMENT SITE
Slow movement is currently being experienced as a result of an earlier accident at Kara inward Mowe.
The accident-involved vehicles have been cleared off the road, but the shifted Jersey barriers are now occupying about 50% of the existing two lanes at the exit of Kara Bridge towards OPIC Turning.
Efforts are ongoing to realign the barriers to restore two-lane movement exiting Kara Bridge towards OPIC Turning.
Traffic has backed up to Otedola Bridge, while Isheri Road from Omole Phase 1 to Berger is also experiencing slow and steady movement.
Ogunnusi Road inward Berger Isale and New Garage is also affected, including motorists coming from Isheri-Olowora and connecting to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway through New Garage.
