TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM OLOWU AXIS
Vehicular movement from Adekunle Intersection on the Third Mainland Bridge inward Adeniji Adele, Ilubirin, and Sura Junction is flowing freely.
Traffic is also moving well from Obalende Bridge inward Onikan, descending past Flag House to CMS Bridge, through UBA, and onward to Apongbon Bridge.
Similarly, movement from Apongbon Bridge descending through Outer Marina, CMS, and Train Station is smooth.
However, there is slight delay from Train Station down to State House inward McEwen Bridge (Officers’ Mess) due to a failed expansion joint.
Movement from Obalende inward Simpson and onward to Ilubirin remains free-flowing, while Ilubirin through Adeniji Adele linking back to the Third Mainland Bridge, Adekunle Intersection, and Iyana Oworo is also moving without difficulty.
Impediment: No traffic incident has been recorded at this time. LASTMA officers are strategically positioned across the corridor to monitor and maintain the free flow of traffic.
