TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM PWD
Vehicular movement from Bolade Intersection, inward Airport Turning, through Shogunle and PWD, is free-flowing, with slight delays at traffic light alternation points.
Movement from Airport Turning, inward Airport Bus Stop, is smooth, while traffic from that point towards National is steady.
However, due to high vehicular influx and pedestrian activities around Ajayi Farm, traffic is crawling from National, inward Ajayi Farm, through Ikeja Along Flyover.
Movement from Ajayi Farm to Ile-Zik and from Ile-Zik connecting Sule Junction is smooth.
Traffic along Ile-Zik, en route Mangoro, Cement and Union, remains encouraging.
The return journey from Iyana Dopemu Underbridge back to Ile-Zik is moving well, with slight delays caused by traffic light alternation.
However, movement from Ile-Zik, inward National through Ikeja Along, is experiencing snail-like movement due to the earlier reported breakdown of a 14-tyre Iveco tanker at National, inward PWD.
Traffic flows smoothly immediately after the affected section down to Bolade Intersection, aside from slight delays at traffic light alternation points.
NOTE: Efforts are ongoing to evacuate the broken-down 14-tyre Iveco tanker at National, inward PWD.
Traffic management structures are on ground doing the needful.
