TRAFFIC UPDATE – LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY / THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE
Movement coming into Lagos from Kara is steady at the moment.
However, the return journey is experiencing slow movement from Secretariat inward Kara due to the earlier reported incident involving an upturned trailer on Kara Bridge inward Mowe.
Beyond Berger inward Otedola and through Secretariat down to Iyana Oworo is a smooth ride at this hour.
Stretches on the Third Mainland Bridge connecting Adeniji, Obalende via Onikan are also enjoying good movement.
The return leg is generally good but with slow movement approaching Ifako Bridge, due to a damaged expansion joint and the backlog caused by the Kara incident.
Efforts are ongoing to evacuate the affected trailer.
