TRAFFIC UPDATE – VICTORIA ISLAND / LEKKI AXIS
Traffic movement across the Victoria Island–Lekki corridor remains generally smooth.
- Mecwen Bridge inward and outward Bonny Camp Roundabout is free-flowing.
- Ahmadu Bello Way toward Eko Hotel and the return journey are moving appreciably.
- IMB through Coastal Road, as well as IMB via Akin Adesola inward Falomo through the Ramp Bridge, remains in good shape.
- Traffic from Bonny Camp Underbridge through Kofo Abayomi, Oniru (Kilimanjaro axis), down to Ozumba Mbadiwe and the return journey is moving well, with only slight delays caused by traffic light alternation.
- The Law School, Civic Centre, BJ1004, School Corner and Sandfield inward Lekki Phase 1, including the return journey and Civic Centre inward the Ramp Bridge, is moving steadily, with minor delays at traffic lights and alternation points.
No impediments have been recorded along the axis. Traffic signals are functional, while officers remain strategically positioned to ensure the continuous free flow of traffic.
