UPDATE FROM KARA BRIDGE
One of the articulated trucks involved in the second incident scene has been successfully towed off the roadway.
A single lane has now been opened inward Mowe, although traffic is moving at a slow pace due to paint spilled on the road from one of the affected vehicles.
Recovery and clearance operations are still ongoing.
TRAFFIC SITUATION
- Outward Lagos: Traffic remains very heavy.
- Contraflow: Traffic is moving steadily, although progress is slow due to the high volume of articulated vehicles using the corridor this morning.
Traffic officers remain on ground coordinating recovery efforts and managing vehicular movement.
