UPDATED TRAFFIC ADVISORY – AKOWONJO ROAD FIRE INCIDENT
Following ongoing efforts to extinguish the fire at Justrite, Jimoh Bus Stop, Akowonjo Road, 50% of the affected corridor has now been reopened to traffic.
Vehicular movement has resumed on one lane from Egbeda inward Vulcanizer through Shasha Traffic Lights along Akowonjo Road.
Emergency response operations are still ongoing at the scene.
Motorists are advised to continue exercising patience, obey traffic officials, and expect intermittent delays until full clearance is achieved.
