INCIDENT REPORT – FUNSHO WILLIAMS AVENUE
A loaded 10-tyre truck developed rear spring and wheel-stud problems overnight at Barracks, inward Ojuelegba, along Funsho Williams Avenue. The fault caused the body of the truck to rest on its right-hand-side tyre.
A forklift was deployed to move the truck to one lane to allow on-the-spot mechanical repairs. The truck owner is currently working on the vehicle, while the LASTMA Rescue Team and other personnel remain on the ground managing the situation.
Traffic is busy from Stadium towards the scene of the incident but is gradually reducing towards Barracks.
