TRAFFIC UPDATE FROM DOPEMU
Traffic is building up along the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway, from Aluminum Gate inward Dopemu Underbridge, due to a high influx of vehicles negotiating to connect to Dopemu Flyover.
Traffic movement from Goye Intersection inward Iyana-Ipaja is relatively faster, with slight delays caused by traffic light alternation at Goye Intersection.
The return journey from Adealu towards Cement Bus Stop remains smooth. Traffic movement in and out of Alimosho Road is appreciable at the moment.
Dopemu Flyover, connecting to Akowonjo Roundabout, is good to go.
The stretch of Akowonjo Road, from Shasha Traffic Light through Sobo, Jimoh and Vulcanizer Bus Stop to Ogunlana Junction, remains relatively free-flowing.
The return journey from Egbeda Intersection towards Akowonjo Roundabout, connecting to the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway, is equally smooth.
OBSERVATION: The HCB truck that rammed into the drainage at Vulcanizer Bus Stop has no significant impact on traffic movement at the moment. Officers are on the ground managing the situation.
